Personality

Falconpool is a hard nut to crack. She can sometimes be described as "A competitive spirit with no sense of humor, yet soft and gentle to her loved ones". Although it's true, she loves to argue with you about how she isn't THAT stubborn, she just wants you to understand her point too.

Although her outward uninterested appearance may spook you off, Falconpool knows when she's intimidating someone. The gray she-cat will just walk on up to you, striking the conversation! She's became good friends with many cats, but is also constantly in that awkward conversation with heart-breaking cats. You see, while Falconpool is very much a social butterfly, she can never be serious with someone and hates taking about anything related to feelings.

Falconpool is stubborn, competitive, and prideful, but that doesn't stop her from being one of the best cats in Deerclan. Her outgoing and cheerful personality will enchant you the moment you meet. But don't get too excited! If you anger this forgiving cat, you won't see the end of it. She will pull her best tricks to get under your fur.

Venting gets one of those, "Oh, uh, ok I guess" reactions. She'll sit through it but won't exactly offer any advice and will just sit there awkwardly.

Clan Role

Being a hunter for the clan means that she is responsible for bring in fresh-kill. Falconpool was never fond of fighting, so she often stays out of skirmishes. Yes, she knows how to, but won't unless her or another cats life is in danger.

When given an apprentice Falconpool will teach them how to fight like any other warrior. However, she also influences peace and words before violence.

History

Falconpool was an apprentice when she was selected to found Deerclan. She was the only apprentice on the journey, solely because her mentor was Raintalon. The she-cat was sad to go, but she hadn't made very many connections in Roseclan.

On the journey, Falconpool was treated well. Cats were open with her, and in turn, they all got along well. The six cats that went all shared a life experience that would forge a strong friendship.

When she was 13 moons, Deerclan was founded. Because, along the way, Falconpool had been training, she earned her warrior name after everything was settled. The clan was doing great! New kits, new warriors, and loners joining the clan.

Of course, the peace did not last. It never does. Raintalon was found dead near the bridge. It appeared that he had fought a cat, but no one was sure.

Cats accused the new loners, saying that they had only joined to murder their deputy. Falconpool was devastated, and comforted Echostar with her mates' death. The two she-cats bonded again, having lost connection since the journey.

Secretly, however, Falconpool observed the clan. She wasn't interested in confrontation but would instead watch from afar. You know, see who was acting differently? It was difficult finding out who was scared of being accused, and who was actually hiding something.

For the next few months, Falconpool observed the world around her. At 19 moons she finally came to a conclusion: Rabbitfoot did it. He had motive, he was capable. She talked to Hallowkit, who was now an apprentice, who agreed to confront Rabbitfoot. He was a wordy cat, always speaking. There was no doubt that Rabbitfoot would become scared that Hallowpaw would tell his secret.

Falconpool watched from afar as the scene unfolded. She could already tell that Rabbitfoot was becoming more anxious. His claws worked in the grass, but.... before she could come out of the bushes Rabbitfoot attacked Hallowkit. She ran for help. After all, the she-cat knew no fighting. Of course, she grabbed Violetsnow who defended the apprentice but did not attack the tom. She simply wounded him enough to bring him back to camp for Echostar's judgment.

Falconpool cared for Hallowpaw, and decided to take full responsibility for the incident. This earned her the position as temporary deputy. Falconpool was fine with this, because she could not lead. She could not fight. She could not defend her clan from cats like Rabbitfoot.
