Outsiders

Any outsider that comes near the living cats will be sent off with a warning. Most cats in the area, both those of the Whispering Woods and not, know about the shadows. But on the rare occasion that a cat does not...it’s not very pretty.

So, Quartzstar holds an outsider trial. It informs the young of the dangers, while also providing the strongest cats to join the fight. This event is held yearly, giving young cats enough time to train. Kitty-pet’s, however, are not allowed to participate. They are believed to be soft, incapable cats with squirrels in their brain.

Hostile cats caught on or within Whispering Woods are either brought to the camp or chased away. A friendly cat, however, is asked nicely to leave. If neither of these persona’s budge, Quartzstar herself comes down with her mightiest Warriors, scaring the poor cat away.

Recording Time

Years, moons. They’re the same thing, right? Whispering Woods has been counting the time in these methods since the beginning. A year is equivalent of 12 moons. A moon is a month, and is counted by how many times a full moon can be seen in the sky. Most often, a cats age will be counted in moons. Only when talking about 5 years or more is the term year used.
